Sinds 2018 ben ik intensief bezig met het medium keramiek. Deze reeks sculpturen stromen voort uit de traditie van vazen, maar verwijzen ook naar symbolen van moederschap of hoe ik de vruchtbaarheid ervaar. Vaak vormden de stampers van bloemen het uitgangspunt, soms vergezeld met dierlijke elementen. Ze zijn tegelijkertijd verwelkomend en afschrikkend en belichamen zo de dualiteit van het moederschap.

２０１８年より、集中的に陶芸作品の制作を開始。このシリーズでは瓶/器の持つ何かを包容する用途の伝統に、母性的シンボルを重ね合わせている。動植物の生殖構造に形の発想を得て、暖かく包み込むようでありながら、同時に威嚇しているような、母性の両面性を表現している。

Since 2018 I have been working intensively with ceramics. This series of sculptures refer to the tradition of vases, a container to be filled with water, as well as to symbols of motherhood or how I experience fertility. The pistils of flowers often form a starting point, sometimes accompanied with the animal elements. They are at the same time welcoming and protective, representing the duality of motherhood.
